Race Check-In, Packet Pick-Up
Saturday, September 11th
Packet pick-up will be held at Treads Bicycle Outfitters in Parker (10831 S. Crossroads Drive). Treads is on the NW corner of Parker Rd. and Main St., behind the Taco Bell & Long John Silver's restaurant.
Packet Pick-Up times are from 10:00am-3:00pm.
Pre-Race Meetings at 11:30am and 1:30pm.
Race Day Packet Pick-Up will still be at the Parker Rec Center from 6:00-7:00am, but there will be long lines! Please try to come Saturday instead. All packets will need to be picked up BEFORE the race begins at 7am! Please bring your photo I.D. with you to packet pick-up.
NO packets will be given out without a photo I.D.
Timing Chips
We will be handing out the timing chips RACE MORNING just before you enter the pool for your swim. We have done this the last couple of years which worked beautifully and helped with the lost/forgotten chips on race day. If you were to lose your timing chip, it would cost you about $100 to replace.
Duathletes
The duathlon starts at 8:00 out by the transition area so you will be able to get your timing chips 20 minutes before we start the duathlon out by the transition area only, not in the pool area.
Transition Area Information
The transition area will open at 5:30a.m. on race day.
All bikes need to be racked 45 minutes prior to swim time. Please be courteous to other racers. We will make every attempt to keep the transition area clear; only participants will be allowed in the transition area. This is to your benefit, to prevent injury and theft. Please help us in this endeavor by keeping your supporters out of the area. Helmets must be strapped onto your head prior to exiting and upon re-entering the transition area.
Race Beneficiary
Funds from the 2009 Fall Frenzy races benefited the following organizations: Craig Hospital Trauma Unit, Parker Explorers, Children’s Hospital in Parker, Kiwani’s Pediatric Trauma Institute, Cops Fighting Cancer, Parker Tri Club, and Swim TLC (kids’ tri club).
Registration
Online registration is now open!
For more registration information, click here.
Online registration will be closing when we reach 650 racers, or Sept. 10th at midnight. After this point if you are interested in registering, you will need to come to packet pick-up Saturday, Sept. 11th at Treads Bicycle Outfitters in Parker from 10-3pm. We have plenty of spots so come on by (cash and check only)!
Age Groups / Race Age
We are following USAT rules that state all racers will race at whatever age they are on December 31st of the current year (2010).
Team/Relay Entries
Team entries must be teams of either 2 or 3 people (male, female or any combination). EACH team member will need to sign the waivers and pay the USAT insurance fee. For questions regarding this please go to www.usatriathlon.org.
Race Give-A-Way
All participating athletes will receive a black, long-sleeve dri-release shirt with a partial zip front and mock neckline. In addition, we will have a special finisher’s item for all those who finish the race!
Pre-race Meetings
The meetings are not mandatory, but highly recommended. We cover the details of the race; any last minute changes and the referees will be there to remind you of the USAT rules. These meetings will be held at 11:30am & 1:30pm on Saturday, Sept. 11th at packet pick-up (Treads).
Rules
All USAT rules apply. Please go to www.usatriathlon.org for more information.
Seeding
We start with the slowest swimmers first and work our way to the fastest swimmers. If you are a fast swimmer, please read the info about the Fast Lane which is under race course/500 yard swim. Participants will be seeded based on their estimated swim times (triathlon only).
Swim Time & Changes
Athletes will be seeded based on their swim times. It is important that each athlete register an accurate swim time on their application. Changes to swim times will be accepted until Sept. 1st, 2010. Please see race course page for more information on the swim and where to submit swim-time changes.
Food
Bagels and fruit will be provided in the morning and our sponsor Qdoba will be providing burritos this year in the afternoon.
Volunteers
We need many volunteers to make this a fun, safe race. There are many different areas we need help with, some indoors, most however are outside. You will receive a Fall Frenzy Volunteer t-shirt and breakfast and/or lunch. If you or any of your friends would like to volunteer, please email nroderick@mho.com.

Parking
Parking will be limited so please carpool if you can. The main entrance to the recreation center will be open at all times. The west entrance that runs behind King Soopers will be closed, given the bike route.
